Inquiry into acute and crisis care: reportAn independent inquiry panel, set up by Mind, the national mental health charity, has reported on the status of acute and crisis care services in England and Wales. After a year-long process of hearing evidence from hundreds of people including professionals, service users and carers, the panel concludes that, while pockets of good practice exist, too often people are turned away and struggle to find help. The report, Listening to Experience, calls for re-humanising crisis care and has made a series of recommendations.
