|
Mental Health in a Multi-Ethnic Society is a new edition updated to reflect changes in the UK over the last ten years in race, culture and mental health provision. Edited by Suman Fernando and Frank Keating, the book has chapters written by over twenty authors, and bring together academic and service user points of views in this area. The book is divided into four sections:
- Issues around service provision for Black and minority ethnic (BME) communities, including refugee and asylum seeker communities
- Critical accounts of how these issues may be confronted, with examples of projects
- Programmes and services that meet some of the needs
- A critical and constructive account of lessons to be drawn and discussion of ways forward
The book is published by Routledge. You can have a look at the contents here. |
